Always a Monster!

Hey y'all! I'm back again as promised with a fun Halloween LO that I hope you love as much as I do! It uses some great products from some great companies...plus has a great pic of our kiddo (the bloody, crazy clown of course) from last year. I've been hearing quite a bit about Authentique paper lately so decided to try some out myself and boy howdy, it is fab stuff! I just loved the texture & thickness of it. And, the banner and strips behind the LO are both from the same sheet of double sided paper. When I seen those cute little variant triangles all over the page, I knew it would make the perfect banner and it did! The background paper is from AC's Mischievous line and I love it as well. When I trimmed off the bottom label of the paper, I actually made sure to keep the word "Mischievous" to use somewhere on my LO. I usually do that with most of my papers because there are always either cute patters you can use as borders, or cute words you can use on a LO or card. Just another good way to recycle/upcycle!

Cardstock - Bazzill
Patterned Paper - Authentique, American Crafts

Live Free....or Dive Hard!

Hey y'all! I'm back again today to share another project with you thanks to some inspiration I got from Sketchy Thursdays! Their current LO sketch (you can view it HERE) is so fabulous that when I looked at it, I pretty much ran into my craft room & got to scrappin'! Don't ya just love it when mojo & inspiration hits at the same time? ;0)

So, do you like my title that's a play on the name of 4th movie in a popular franchise? Did you catch it? My hubby & kiddo thought it was kinda cute...ya know, instead of Live Free or Die Hard, I made it Live Free or Dive Hard. I'm a goober with things like that sometimes! And I just love these pics of our kiddo (center photo) and some of our friends diving in their pool. It was hot that day & so much fun! I'm happy to say that we've attended more pool parties this year than any other year, thanks to the record breaking temperatures here in Oklahoma. But when you have this much fun together, the heat is a great excuse to let loose! ;0)

Summer Song...

I just wanna go on the record and say that I love For the Record, a super fab Echo Park Kit! I've never really played with Echo Park much before, but when I seen this kit a few months ago I just knew I had to have it. I recently pulled it out & have been super inspired by the variety of projects I can create with it! This LO features a few photos from last month when my niece & nephew came up to visit from San Antonio. My awesome mom-in-law & I took them to the pool & had a blast! They are just growing up so fast & I wish they would move back closer to us...we really miss them all lots. Anyway, these papers, embellies, letters & journaling spot were just perfect for this project. I'm already planning my next project with this kit in my head!

This LO was also based on this fabulous sketch at PageMaps & I so love me some PageMaps! It is such an awesome resource for inspiration. Whenever I feel like I am stuck in crafty mojo rut, I just grab my sketch book & start flipping through. It never fails to give me just the right amount of motivation to get scrappin'!
