Party...with YMH!!!!

Hey y'all! I have to apologize for this belated post that should've been up Sunday. My hubby & I went on an AMAZING getaway to Austin, Texas & while I set it to post on the YMH DT blog, I forgot to set it to post on my own blog!! I know, I am such a dork sometimes...LOL! But, here it is and better late than never right?

So this layout that I designed using some fabulous products from the YMH Store features our son's 14th birthday party last month. I absolutely loved being able to get this many photos on one layout! I was also to do a super cute ruffle that I just love! And it is easy too! I used some wire ribbon that I cut in half horizontally. I then gathered it all which is super easy since it is wired...you can do all of the ribbon before even gluing it on. Next, I adhered the ruffled wired ribbon with some hot glue (it wasn't touching my photos so I knew it was safe) to the reverse side of the die cut cardstock and then pop dotted it up on my paper. While you can do this with any type of ribbon such as THIS, I did love the wired type for being more manageable.

I also did a cute little banner, which is very hot right now in the crafty world, for my title & love how it turned out. Another super easy addition that makes any project stand out! All of the patterned paper that I used is by either Imaginisce or Pebbles Inc. & you can find those both in the YMH Store. I also used some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to spritz the die cut cardstock and then dipped a brush in to distress the edges of the paper too, prior to adding the ruffle. I am absolutely addicted to my glimmer mist & find myself finding all sorts of ways to use it! You can also find a large variety of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist at an excellent price in the YMH Store!

I hope you take the chance to hop on over to the Your Memories Here Designs blog & Your Memories Here Store...you will love both sites! New products are coming in & I know that I am super excited! Thanks for taking a peek at my layout & I'll be back tomorrow with another fun project! Happy Scrappin'!

I'm also entering my LO into a few fun challenges this week...check 'em out if you have a chance!

Rock On! (& some good news too!)

Hello my crafty friends! Hope everyone is doing fabulously! First I have to say that I am a couple days late with my post. Just been so busy with back to school stuff & life in general that I forgot that Sunday had come and gone! I am such a dork sometimes...but, I am back to share a crafty lil' rocker gift card with you that I made for Your Memories Here. Lately, for some reason, I have been on a gift card creating kick & figured this one would be perfect for our son & one of the many musical gifts we always get him!

The card features a fabulous Imaginisce Snag 'Em stamp. You can find these terrific stamps in the Your Memories Here store along with the fabulous Prima bling that I used. I just love the variety of products the store has to offer, as well as the fabulous prices too! You have to check it all out! On the inside of my card I added a rub-on and vintage sheet music to finish off the gift card.

Now, on to my good news! I am super duper happy to say that I won the ScrapFit challenge with my Fearless LO I had completed for the YMH DT last week! How cool is that! I absolutely love the ScrapFit challenge site & hope you check it out, if you haven't already! I can't wait to play with the fabulous kit I won...Woo-Hoo!

Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my card and I hope you take the time to check out the amazing Your Memories Here DT blog too! I do appreciate it and I hope you all have a rockin' week! Happy Craftin'!

Fearless...

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend! I am back again this week with another layout for the Your Memories Here DT...and yes, it features some more gorgeous Prima goodies from the YMH store, a cutie pic of our son & his girlfriend, & another Taylor Swift song!

The beautiful diecut paper, flocked lace ribbon, & adhesive pearls are all by Prima. Also by Prima is the journaling spot...I just upcycled some of their lovely packaging! The green patterned paper is by Imaginisce & I used a scallop border punch to help it stand out & coordinate with the die cut paper. I used my Cricut to cut the title & brackets using the Opposites Attract cartridge & the Home Accents cartridge to cut the butterflies. It doesn't show in the photo, but I added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to the front of the butterflies and they have such a beautiful iridescent shimmer to them!

The title comes from the song, Fearless, and the journaling is some lyrics from the song. I feel her music really relates to young love and describes the emotions that accompany it so well. The journaling reads: In this moment, now capture it, remember it-'Cause I don't know how it gets better than this - You take my hand and drag me headfirst, fearless.

You can find all these rockin' products in the Your Memories Here store & I hope you take the time to check it all out! Kristina has some awesome products at amazing prices! And, don't forget to visit the YMH DT blog to see what the fabulous ladies have created! They are so talented & always shares the sweetest projects! Happy Scrappin'!
