You/Me....and some Odds & Ends!

Oh, I am totally in love with Cosmo Cricket's Odds and Ends Collection! Are ya surprised? LOL! I am usually a sucker for all things Cosmo anyway, but this kit is just fabulous & versatile. And so perfect to make those cute little rosettes with too, don't ya think? I used a couple of my border punches on the edges of some border strips in the kit to give the rosettes a sweet little edge. Love how they turned out! Now, one thing I do when I'm making rosettes, & I realize this may not be new to anyone, but I use my score tool to keep my marks even where I fan fold. It also makes it way easier to fold them. Just a little tip to share with you that I found works super well for me!

Supplies
All Patterned Paper, Blue Cardstock, & Journaling Spot from Cosmo Cricket's Odds & Ends Collection
Red Cardstock - Recollections
Border Punches - Stampin' Up, Martha Stewart
Distress Ink - Tim Holtz (walnut stain)
Red Thickers - American Crafts
Ribbon - May Arts
Pearls & Rhinestone Swirls - Prima Marketing
Adhesives - Glue Glider Pro, Aileen's Fast Grab Tacky Glue
Buttons, Twine - Stash

And don't you just love that red chipboard alpha too?! Eeek, I am so addicted to it & have used it on several projects already! I just love the way the font looks almost like leather up close, due to the faux stitching. Thickers by American Crafts are just another one of my many addictions! I also used an old PageMaps sketch from February 2011 as my inspiration. It's actually a 2 page LO sketch, but I decided to just use the left side for inspiration. That's the great thing about sketches....they can be made to suit you!

Well, check back in another day or so because I have another LO to share with you. This one will feature Echo Park's For the Record Kit and has a super summery vibe! Oh, and don't forget to link up to the "sweet" party going on at Paper Issues right now. You have until Sunday to join us & have the opportunity to be a featured artist! Just CLICK HERE to play along.
Until next time, Happy Craftin'!
I'm also entering my LO into the following challenges!
