My new favorite toy!

Okay, my new favorite toy is not a crafty one, so please forgive me! But, I am so in love with it I just had to share with y'all! And no, I am not a spokesperson for the product or anything, I just really, really, really like it! I am in love with my....mop! Hubby better watch out I guess...hehehe!

I finally got a Shark Steam Mop & I am so very happy about it! I have wanted for awhile...I know I am a dork...but I love the idea that I don't have to buy anything for it like my Swiffer Wet Jet, that it is environmentally friendly, & gets rid of bacteria lurking on your floors. So, I rushed right home after purchasing it and went to town...& was very, very pleased with the results! So easy to do as well...very light weight and produces a bunch of steam - so be careful! Also got a heck of a deal too...only paid $30 for it brand new! Saved myself about $70 bucks - thanks Wal-Mart! Anyway, I just wanted to post my new fave addiction...mopping my floors! LOL!!! Hugs!

Happy 2 Cute Thursday!

Hey y'all! Happy Thursday! I hope you are all having a fabulous week! The weekend is almost here & I am super excited for that since the hubby has a 3 day weekend...yay! This week I decided to play with the Little Fire Fighter Girl digi stamp by 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. She is a cutie and definitely fun to play with...she could be used on so many types of little girl projects! You can get your very own Little Fire Fighter Girl right HERE! I also decided not to put a sentiment on the front of my card...which is a first for me! lol!

I started out by printing my digi on the Heavenly White Premium Ultra Smooth cardstock by The Paper Temptress. As you have heard me say before, this cardstock is fabulous for coloring! It takes my Prisma pencils amazingly well, better than any other paper I have ever tried. And, I also hear that it is simply fabulous for Copics too! Make sure to check it out! I also used a sharpie as well as my Prisma pencils to color the image. The yellow paper is Making Memories & the patterned paper is Creative Memories. The black cardstock is Neena Super Smooth black, also from The Paper Temptress. All of her cardstock is simply wonderful! The flowers are Prima, the ribbon is SU, and the buttons, glittered dew drops, & pop dots are from my stash. The black ink I used for distressing is by StampCraft & the white is Studio G.

Thanks so much for taking the time to look at my card! I would love it if you would hop on over to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT site & check out all the awesome creations. There is some amazing inspiration over there! And, don't forget to check out the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps store! Heidi just released some new images & they are just adorable! Happy Craftin'!

Up, Up & Away with 2 Cute Thursday!

Hey y'all! I'm back with another 2 Cute Rubber Stamps card for you this week! With all the fireworks going off for 4th of July, it got me thinkin' about rocket ships, so I decided to use this awesome little digi stamp called Up, Up & Away rocket ship. You can find it right here in digi form or right here in cling cushion. I just love that the fabulous Heidi offers her stamps in several different ways, don't you?!

So, as usual, I used my Prisma pencils to color the image & then used Dimensional Magic by Mod Podge to simulate the glass window on the rocket. I love that you can see it in the closeup photo! I also used my new fave cardstock to color on, the Heavenly White Premium Ultra Smooth cardstock from The Paper Temptress....absolutely fab paper and superb for blending a variety of coloring techniques too! The patterned paper is Love, Elsie I believe and the other cardstock is Making Memories (blue) & DCWV (yellow). Thread is Bazzill, dimensional sticker is Miss Elizabeth, & the ink is Studio G. The buttons, punch, ribbon, & crepe paper are from my stash.

And speaking of the crepe paper, I loved using it to jazz up this embellishment to make it more of what I wanted! It was super easy. I just cut my crepe paper the right width & length, used some Aileens Fast Grab Tacky Glue (LOVE this stuff!) on the back, and adhered it - ruffling as I went. It really made it stand out and blend with my color scheme more...plus, it is a great way to make better use of your stash too! Totally loving the crepe paper ruffles right now! Now, if you have a moment, please hop on over to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT site & check out all the amazing inspiration! The gals are super talented and we have some new ones for you to welcome on board too! Plus, stay tuned for some exciting news to come to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps world! Happy Craftin'!

For this card I used my Prisma pencils to color the stamp, and the patterned paper is K&Co. The yellow is DCWV, the red is Making Memories, & the white cardstock is by The Paper Temptress! I absolutely LOVE coloring on this Heavenly White Premium Ultra Smooth Cardstock...it is fabulous and by far the best for coloring! You must check out her website! The ribbon is Fiskars, the flower is Prima, the chipboard is K&Co., the ink I used for distressing is by StampCraft, & the glittered dew drop is from my stash, as are the pop dots. Oh, & I used my Cricut Mini Monograms cart for the scalloped rectangle.

Cowboy Up with 2 Cute Rubber Stamps!

Hey y'all! I know it has been awhile since I last posted. What can I say, life has been crazy! I know you can definitely understand that! And while I am a few days posting this week, I wanted to go ahead and get my 2 Cute Rubber Stamps DT card for all of you to see! This week I played with the adorable Cowboy Kid digi stamp from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps - check him out HERE. Isn't he cute! While I decided to use him to adorn a cute little BBQ invite, wouldn't he be great for some baby or birthday cards, or even some cute little scrapbook LO's of your cute kiddo playing cowboy?!

First, I printed the digi stamp on some Heavenly White Premium Ultrasmooth Cardstock by The Paper Temptress. I totally have to brag about this paper! Foremost, it is the absolute best paper I have ever used to color on...EVER! It is so smooth and rich and blends soooo well. You must try it out! Patricia has a fabulous website and even has a sample request form so you can try out her fabulous product for yourself. Please, run, don't walk, over to The Paper Temptress right now check it out for yourself! You won't be disappointed! I used my Prisma pencils to color the Cowboy Kid dig, and added some line detail with a black Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pen. I love these pens...they are fabulous for little details - especially the black! The patterned paper is by Sulyn Industries & is some I have had for a long time...so glad I am finally using it! The blue check is Creative Memories & the red is some scrap from my stash. I used my Cricut & the Beyond Birthdays cart for the sentiment & tied on some $ Tree twine to finish it off. I also used a star punch & the ink for distressing is coffee by Stamp Craft.

There is some great inspiration for this stamp and many others over at the 2 Cute Rubber Stamp DT site so make sure to check it out! The girls are fabulously talented! And as always, 2 Cute Stamps come 3 ways: digi (which I love!), cling cushion, & wood mounted! Hop on over and check out the store HERE! Happy Craftin'!

Summer Fun with Happy Crabby & 2 Cute Rubber Stamps!

Hey y'all! Long time no see! LOL! Sorry I haven't been around much the past week or so; we've had a lot of stuff going on. Let's see, I lost my job of five years, our fur baby has cancer, our cousin is visiting us from out of state for a few weeks, and I just got rid of a wicked eye infection. Ya know, it is kinda hard to scrap without two good eyes! LOL!! But seriously, thanks for your patience and if you want to send a prayer my family's way, we would certainly appreciate it! Anyway, let's get on to the good stuff!

This is probably my very fav stamp from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps! Happy Crabby is so darn cute and he just screams summer to me! I have many more plans for him this summer besides the card I already featured (and will be published next month!!) and this cutie pie altered notebook! So, I had this notebook from Dollar Tree I had picked up awhile back and decide to convert it into something cute to hold some summer memories! Perfect for catching the day to day stuff and the big happenings...especially when it comes to remembering the details for scrapbooking later on!

I started by grabbing some black spray paint from Ace Hardware (this stuff is fantastic!) and coating the front & back cover of my notebook, as well as the binding. I colored my Happy Crabby 2 Cute Rubber Stamp using my Prisma pencils & a couple Copic Atyou Spica Glitter Pens. The patterned paper is by Creative Memories & Basic Grey, and the cardstock is by The Paper Temptress (absolutely fabulous paper! love it!) & Creative Memories. The ribbon is by SU, the adhesive badge is AC, and the sentiments are stamps from Target's $1 bin! I used Staz On ink for stamping & Stamp Craft ink for distressing. The red & blue ribbons are from my stash, as are the little yellow dew drops!

I hope you like my little card and I hope you take the time to hop on over to the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Design Team site! The DT is super talented and there are so many cute projects to give you some great inspiration! Don't forget to check out the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps store too so you can grab your own Happy Crabby! Happy Craftin'!
