2009 Word To Live By

While looking at a fellow Cricut MB'ers blog, www.christyszaneycreations, she had something pretty neat posted on her site that I had to check out: Tip Junkie's Talk To Me Tuesday.

This week, Talk To Me Tuesday featured something pretty cool. A word to describe how you will live for 2009. Something to define, or redefine, how you live and maybe even who you are in the long run. Well, after a lot of thought, I finally came up with my word to live by for 2009.

CHANGE.

Sometimes, heck, most of the time, change can be such a fearful aspect of life that it often wreaks more havoc than good. But not this year - not for me. No siree! Change is going to define me and bring me to a place where I have needed to be for a long time. Positive change in all areas of my life from big to little. I won't be afraid to step out of bounds or color outside the lines. Nope - not this gal anymore. I am going to face things head on, not head down!

There are so many things I want to change from being a better parent and spouse to being a better crafter. Change the way I look at life and change the way I respond to life when it decides to throw me a curveball. And there are going to be some MAJOR changes in my life too - some I can't share right now, but definitely will when they happen. And trust me, they will happen. Why? Because I am going to change and not be afraid.

Too often so many of us, especially us moms & wives, get stuck in a rut. We want to get out but don't know if we can or even how to do so. Hopefully, you will stick around with me throughout the year to see all the changes I am going to make. I also encourage everyone else to make a change - be it big or small - that will make a difference in your life. Do something that YOU want to do! After all, change can be a wonderful thing!

Change is a great word!! I really like the idea of having a word to focus on for the year. My word is: together. :) Happy New Year!!!
