Challenge #12 - Lucky! Card

I had a BLAST doing this challenge Cindy and I assigned to our DT at Whimsical Scraps & Bugs! The ladies on the DT were asked to create a St. Patrick's Day card, non-traditional if possible, using their Cricuts and the color green.

For this card I used the Indie Art cartridge to cut both the dice and the word, Lucky! I used the George cartridge to cut hearts for the four leaf clover. I shadowed the dice, title and the hearts, as well as pop-dotted them. The cardstock used in the project is Bazzill and the patterned paper is Reminiscence. I also inked the edges of the patterned paper to give it a more distressed look and help it blend in more with the cardstock background. The buttons used in the center of the clover are some that I received in a swap, not sure of the brand. The finished size of the card is 6x6.

For once, I am completely satisfied with this card! Since I am not known for being the most self-confident scrapper (LOL!) this is a big deal for me. I feel more comfortable making cards than I ever have thanks to lots of challenges! I hope you enjoy this one too! I had to post this a little early as I will be away from my computer for the weekend. The rest of the DT's designs will be up by Monday! Make sure to check them out and we would love you to play along with our next're gonna love it!!

Happy Scrapping!
